Consumer Information
The Consumer Education Programme of the Consumer Affairs Division aims at upgrading the level of consumer consciousness and empowerment throughout Trinidad and Tobago.
Radio
Members of the public can access information by tuning in to any of the nine FM and two AM radio stations on a daily basis for the program "Focus on the Consumer". This is an informative 5-minute program which highlights special topical issues, and provides advice on everyday consumer related matters.
Print/News Papers
Consumer Links and Consumer Tips are carried in the Guardian, Express and Newsday on a weekly basis. These cover a wide variety of topics.
Television
Television viewers can now access information given on a weekly 30-15 minute magazine type programme "Consumer Rights and Responsibilities" and this can be viewed on WinTV and NCC.

Outreach Programmes
The Division conducts a series of information sessions, seminars and workshops targeted to all levels of society, and varying age groups, including the school population. They are designed to create and sustain consumer awareness, and promote the development of consumer interest groups, buyers clubs and the principles of group lobby.
Printed Material
Consumer Link magazine is distributed to Government Agencies, Private Sector, Libraries and the various collaborating Consumer Protection Agencies.
Information Sharing
The CAD disseminates information about consumer rights and responsibilities, in addition to providing all necessary information given to consumers about goods and services they may acquire or have acquired.
