Q. SCHOOL BOOKS
- Principles
- Given the dependence of the existing educational system on text books, measures must be taken to make text books more affordable and available to consumers.
- Priorities
- To standardize school text books;
- To introduce a system of school book rental throughout the country;
- To fix a minimum period of at least three (3) years for a book to be used as a text book to allow such books to be reused;
- To publish in the daily newspapers before July/August of each year, the scheduled list of prices for school books as determined by the current 15% on the publisher's price.
