PRINCIPLES AND PRIORITIES OF CONSUMER POLICY:
I. HARMONIZATION AND COORDINATION AMONG ALL CONSUMER PROTECTION AGENCIES
- Principles
- Harmonisation, coordination and collaboration among all consumer protection agencies are necessary to provide effective protection and service to consumers.
- Priorities
- To review the role and functions of; and the legislation governing, all consumer protection agencies in Trinidad and Tobago;
- To review the role and function of the Consumer Guidance council;
- To develop an appropriate management structure for the Ministry of Consumer Affairs.
