PRINCIPLES AND PRIORITIES OF CONSUMER POLICY:
G. CONSUMER CONSULTATION AND REPRESENTATION
- Principles
- Consumers should be consulted and allowed to express their views, in particular, through organizations concerned with consumer protection on all issues which affect them directly or indirectly.
- Priorities
- To liaise with, and monitor the activities of Consumer Action Groups and other voluntary Consumer organizations in Trinidad and Tobago;
- To encourage and support organizations representing consumers to study matters of importance for consumers and to make their views known.
