PRINCIPLES AND PRIORITIES OF CONSUMER POLICY:

G. CONSUMER CONSULTATION AND REPRESENTATION

  1. Principles
    1. Consumers should be consulted and allowed to express their views, in particular, through organizations concerned with consumer protection on all issues which affect them directly or indirectly.
  2. Priorities
    1. To liaise with, and monitor the activities of Consumer Action Groups and other voluntary Consumer organizations in Trinidad and Tobago;
    2. To encourage and support organizations representing consumers to study matters of importance for consumers and to make their views known.
